The term "Stand Down" is a military term
which means to stop or rest from combat. It has been taken
and used for these stand down events where a lot of military
surplus is distributed to veterans and their families. Stand
Downs are held all over the United States, and in several
areas in Montana, (Libby, Helena, Great Falls, Hamilton,
Billings), however, this is the first in the Gallatin Valley
and surrounding area.
